KURA and KeRRA Announce 341 Job Vacancies

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) and Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) have announced 341 job vacancies across various positions within the authorities.
In separate notices published onMyGovon Tuesday, December 13,KeRRA said that it is offering 308 job opportunities, while KURA is offering 33.
The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) has grouped the vacancies into 12 job grades, with grades 1, 2 and 3 comprising 18 positions at the senior management level.
These include the director general, director of internal audit, deputy director of roads, deputy director of enterprise risk management, deputy director of planning, deputy director of legal affairs, deputy director of survey, deputy director of supply chain management, deputy director of research and innovation, and deputy director of administration.
The authority said applicants interested in the positions are required to submit their applications by January 20.
Applicants are required to clearly state the specific position and reference number in their application letters, which should be addressed to the chairperson of the board of directors.
Job positions listed under Grade 4-12 comprise 290 positions, including assistant director roads, assistant director administration, principal legal officer, principal engineer, ICT officer, senior environmentalist, surveyor, among others.
The authority said that interested andqualified Kenyans should make their applicationsthrough the authority's recruitment portal.

On the other hand, KURA seeks to recruit individuals into various positions, including director of engineering, engineer, assistant inspector of roads, finance and accounts officer, assistant officer administrator, and driver.
KURA said the successful candidate will be engaged on a three-year contract, with applications required to be submitted by 5pm on February 2.
"Candidates who meet the set criteria should apply in writing by downloading the mandatory KURA Job Application Form provided on the website, fill all required fields, sign and date the form, and attach certified copies of certificates and transcripts, testimonials, and curriculum vitae," KURA said.
